“The singer looks like Private Pile from Full Metal Jacket faked his death to become a rock star.”

The story

Division of Laura Lee came out of Vänersborg, Sweden, in the late 1990s. They named themselves after a '60s soul singer plus the words Division Of, which one of them spotted on a cardboard box at their practice space. Very punk. Critics heard the Stooges and Joy Division in them, and one member named Fugazi as his favorite band. They broke into the US during the early 2000s wave of Scandinavian rock bands.

Need to Get Some is the opening track on their 2002 debut album Black City, out on Burning Heart in Europe and Epitaph in the States. Westword described it as driving guitars and a big anthem of a chorus, sung without a trace of a Swedish accent. Not much has been written about the video itself, so this one's all yours.
