The story

If you ask Robert Christgau, Wussy are the best band in Cincinnati, 630 miles from Saturday Night Live and fine with it. He named Attica! the best album of 2014. The band grew out of Chuck Cleaver's old group the Ass Ponys and his meeting Lisa Walker in 2001. The two share lead duties, and for the band's first five years they were an on-and-off couple, eighteen years apart.

Halloween is a Lisa Walker song, track seven on Attica!, and it looks back at her teenage years: dreams sitting just out of reach, regret settling in like weather. Lincoln Messerly made the video. Riley Bachman filmed the shootout in the parking lot, and Mark Messerly shot the rest. A homemade video for a band that's spent its whole career being great a long way from the people who hand out fame.
