The story
Professor Soap is the alter ego of Ryan Mauskopf, a musician, illustrator and graphic designer who makes the songs and the pictures himself. He posted this one in early 2011 with a one-line promise that the good vibes are on the house.
One music blog called the video hypnotic, an invitation into the trippy world of Professor Soap, and admitted the track splits people right down the middle: some love it, some can't stand it. That's usually a sign somebody made exactly the thing they wanted to make. Mauskopf went on to make animated space adventures like Spacetime Fabric Softener under the same name. One guy, one weird little universe, no committee.
